About

Idea of this site is quite simple. Its about simple recipes of Thai Food, that any one can make – (relatively) fast!

Recipes in this website are really easy so that anyone can try out on their own. You can easily find all the ingredients in any supermarket. The food here is what we cook in everyday life for ourselves and the family. When you have had enough from takeouts and you miss a home-cooked meal, you can try one. These are not recipes for holiday cooking or for showing off the guests, but they are all my favorite dishes. Of course, you can make one of the Curries and impress your friends.

Proportions given here is for small quantity – fits for two people. If you plan to cook for 4-6 people you might need to double it. Tastes vary. By my experience, even Soya Sauce bought in Tesco(Thailand) tastes different depending upon the brand. So if you are cooking in US or Europe, Soya Sauce you get might be Japanese ones and they are often more salty than the one I use in Thailand, so be careful. But there is no strict rule in cooking Thai, so you can easily use your imagination and follow your instinct. Your results might be better than mine. Enjoy!

Thank you. Also I really appreciate the Thai name in Thai Akara and Thai translation too, as I am starting to learn how to read and speak Thai.
