This is one of the most popular dishes in Thailand because you can get this papaya salad anywhere in Thailand, North, West, East or South. Originally from Isaan or Northeast this dish has become favourite Thai dish for people around the globe and here is the easiest way to make it. How to make:
- Beat the Chili and Garlic together and then add palm sugar and fish sauce, use the pestle to press the sugar to dissolve.
- Squeeze the lime into the mixture
- Add the dried Shrimp, cut green bean, pieces of tomato and pieces of eggplant and mix well.
- Add the shredded green papaya and mix well.
- For the better taste, on serving top the salad with freshly roasted peanut!
Tip: To get the best Papaya Salad, the shredded green papaya and all the fresh ingredients should be kept in the fridge for a while, so that they are really crispy fresh. Assorted vegetable is what we eat papaya salad with to lessen the feeling of tongue burning. Of course, Papaya salad is best, when had with Grilled Chicken and Sticky Rice.
