Chinese Bitter Gourd | 1 Piece | |
Pork Spare Ribs | 150 grams | Cut and Cleaned |
Garlic | 5-6 cloves | |
Coriander | 2 pieces | |
Black Pepper | 10-15 seeds | |
Soya Sauce | 1.5 tbsp |
How to make:
- Clean and cut the Bitter Gourd into piece and soak in salt water to reduce its bitterness.
- Clean and cut the garlic and the root of coriander add both into mortar including black pepper. Mix all three into the fine paste.
- Fry the paste in little oil with low heat. When the paste gives aroma, add the spare ribs to fry, follow by the salt.
- When the ribs are cooked, add bitter gourd. Fry for a few minutes. Then, add boiling water until it covers the ingredients.
- To season add the soya sauce. Leave the soup to cook with low heat for 30 minutes or until the meat and vegetable are soft.
- On serving garnish with the Coriander leave.
